Fun and bonding through parent/child interaction is what this class is all about. Music and exploration is a major part of the curriculum. Hand/eye coordination and ball handling skills are developed along with small motor development. Personal attention from the coaching staff is provided throughout. This is a perfect way for you and child to get comfortable with the gym and our instructors!
Preschool students rotate through various stations and small circuits to further develop fine and gross motor skills. Children have the opportunity to safely participate on bars, vault, beam, floor, pommel horse, rings, parallel bars and our 30ft. Tumbl Trak™. Since this program is for young students, we keep a low student/instructor ratio to provide for your child’s safety.Advanced Preschool – By Invitation Only
School Age Gymnastics
Students learn basic gymnastics skills and advance through 3 levels. Activities include vault, bars, beam, tumbling, Tumbl Trak, and more. Girls Beginner 5/6, 6-9, and 7+ classes are designed for younger girls that are new to gymnastics. Girls Beginner 10 and up classes are designed for older girls seeking to engage in gymnastics. Often times, girls in this age group feel self conscious about starting the sport at an older age and choose to not participate. This class allows them to learn alongside other girls in the same situation, while gaining confidence and experiencing the important benefits of a healthy lifestyle!
Registration is open to girls who have mastered the basic skills offered in the Beginner Program and requires an evaluation by the Head Coach or Program Director. This class is designed to further develop skills on vault, bars, beam, and floor. Gymnasts in this class are encouraged (not required) to participate in our performance team.
Our boys gymnastics program introduces boys desiring to participate in recreational gymnastics to basic physical fitness strategies, tumbling techniques, and various men’s gymnastics events. The class is geared towards boys 6 and up of all skills and abilities.
Our home school program is for families with children in grades K-12 and runs during daytime hours. This unique program is structured differently than our regular classes. Students will participate in a 30 minutes structured class and 30 minutes of free play. Structured activities will include gymnastics, ninja, and tumbling.
The Performance Team students learn a mix of artistic and acrobatic gymnastics, along with acro-dance, which they perform in local parades, festivals, fairs, senior homes and other local venues! Performing in these exhibitions provide your child with the opportunity to use her gifts and talents in a way that is a blessing to others. This is also a great way to gain confidence, while experiencing the excitement and beauty of the sport.
The In-House Competition Team is open to girls of all levels who are ready to learn routines and more advanced gymnastics skills. There will be 2 or 3 competitions held each season that will take place on either Friday evening or Saturday afternoons with our girls being the only competitors. This allows girls to experience the thrill of a competitive meet but with less pressure and expense than a traditional competitive team. The girls will have judges evaluating all events and awards will be presented. Participation in competitions is encouraged but not mandatory.
